Biophilia is the cool “nature word” describing the fact that being in nature often makes us feel peaceful, inspired, curious, and creative. During this after school club, students will experience biophilia first hand when they receive their own nature journal and art supply toolkit to begin exploring the nature of spring. Each session will include science activities and art instruction that helps students to focus and become present in order to locate, observe, and record features of nature in spring. This aim of this program is to cultivate a journaling adventure that could last a lifetime. Series topics:

Class 1: Intro to Journaling! Receive your emerald green ticket (a journal and pencil) and while learning tracking techniques begin your exploration and adventure of a lifetime
